where we belong. No more questions about how good UConn is. Last nite was a nitemare for SC their fans and those fans who were hoping but knew UConn would win. UConn did it like they always do, sharing the ball, finding the open women, and playing tuff defense. UConn never let up. When you watch the game and you see how UConn runs plays to get certain players open and how they help out on defense it truly enjoyable to watch and it doesn't matter if its a great team or not so great of a team. I agree with RS's post. Stewart is the best player in WCBB and it aint close. Tuck MoJeff and KML are 1st team AAs but the voters wont vote that way and give it all to UConn. To me its obvious all 4 are 1st team AAs.
So where do we go from here? We've proven once again UConn is almost unbeatable. We showed again UConn is a well oiled machine with out many faults compared to opponents. SC is a good team and perhaps a FF team however again this season its UConn and everybody else.
Geno is a Genius. Where he's put this team, the way he's built this team and how they are conditioned both physically and mentally is like no other team. The most amazing thing Geno has consistently done is continue to set the bar higher year after year. As great as UConn was last season this years team seems to be performing better. The way he develops his players is light years ahead of all other coaches. Anybody can coach a team and teach them how to run plays and execute. Geno takes it steps further. You look at his talent and its not about the talent he has its about how he gets that talent to play as an unbreakable unit. Our last game with our starters sitting and UConn winning by 45+ is proof. Yes they lose once in a while but to continually beat teams by double digits with no mercy is mind boggleing.
Last nite was truly a be u tit ful thing to watch if you where a UConn fan. Executing for fabulous. Shot selection was fabulous . The hustle and never letting up on one play was exciting. UConn never let up.
