B1G To Start October 10?

Have to assume the votes are there to reverse ship, no?

Why go through the Kabuki theater if the re-vote is going to end up with same result?

Crickets... It will be interesting to see who has the more improved defense next year when we play Purdue. Diaco’s from getting a year of actual game day experience or ours lifting weights with Edsall peaching practice fundamentals ...getting bigger and stronger. We usually do good off extra weeks of practice under Edsall like coming off bye weeks and stuff...

Daily rapid testing for football players, while the grad student instructors at Michigan are striking because people on campus are not getting tested sufficiently. Incredibly tone deaf and a blatant money grab.

Meanwhile Colorado has put the entire campus on a 14-day quarantine.

The dirty little "secret" is that the schools playing / pushing to play have a had lot of positive cases over the last month and a half. They are keeping it quiet, and isolating the players. The risk of wholesale outbreaks sidelining decreased during the B1G delay. I am sure the odds still favor some teams being hit, but it wouldn't surprise me if a majority of B1G teams make it thru the entire schedule.

B10 look like idiots. Jumped the gun on cancelling season. No TV money. Had to lay off staff and cut sports. Now trying to salvage things with a rushed season.
