ITs pretty clear that the four super conferences will be breaking away from the NCAA.
I dont think the conferences leave with only the schools that are a part of the conferences now. I think the commissioners are too smart to leave while leaving the huge gap of the northeast and a large part of the east coast that none of the current big 4 have schools in. This gap from maine to north carolina holds too high a percentage of the country's population to be left out of the highest level of college football. I think this fact could end up being a heaven sent for UCONN because its hard to imagine that many of the schools in this region have a much better chance at being invited to the big 4 than UCONN.
Does anyone know if the schools would be able to keep all their other sports in the NCAA while moving football to some other organization?
