B12 pass on us...

If Big 12 passes on us tomorrow and take 4 teams from the AAC. I would take all sports back to the Big East and football would become independent. Football would have to schedule more regional matchups and play cash games against bigger opponents to help fund the show. Staying in the AAC with more defections is not doable. Everyone on this board thinks this plan sucks but are there better options?

If the Big 12 takes 4 AAC teams and we aren't one.....well I don't really quite know what I'd do as I'd be in such shock and disgust I'd be speechless. Two schools named UC and UH I kind of get but pass d over by 4 schools from the AAC? Hell no

I said elsewhere but I'd make a play to join the MWC with an eastern partner for football only - throw in a OOC scheduling agreement with the MWC for hoops - then park rest of programs in Big East.

MWC would be new best G5 conference.

I've been in the basement making similar arrangements for tomorrow night. Kinda my own Monday Night Football "brown out"
