is it true that there is language in it that if the b12 expands that every school must resign and if a school wants out after expansion happens they can simply walk away while the new signed paper is being done? if so then thats extremely interesting. so if the b12 got fsu and clem lets say when it comes time for them to be added and sign the gor to join, kansas for example could say it and go to the b10(asume talks were going on or w/e...)?

is this the loophole in the gore and why texas is riding easy thru all of this. they don't want expansion becuase they can live healthy as is considering tier 3 compared to others. but if expansion happens texas could call the pac and blow up the b12 as it doesn't want a huge east/west conf. so wvu and tcu were just pawns to them filling schedule with quality names but nothing important in the grand scheme basically.

so from swoffords view point this is why hes willing to live dangerous. he knows that in the end the b12 will explode before a fsu and others sign and they all agree to it as a b12 with 14 or 16 schools?!?! so knowing this he only fears the sec and b10 and is actually just setting himslef up as the 4th big boy conf and even looking at a few b12 schools longterm that could be possible. academics don't matter, wvu will be one of them now.

pac+tex/tt/ok/okst and maybe kan/kst
sec+tcu/bay/ncst/vt
b10+uva/unc/uconn/nd or another acc team
acc+wvu/temple/cincy/usf or memphis or ist

kitty?

Are the WV posters saying this? I bet WV was told to sign the GOR without being allowed to read it.

There has been talk of a trap door in the GOR. I have never heard the complete details about the possible way out and have never heard it's existence refuted. I just can't see Texas getting all benevolent to save the Big 12 without have a way out if they decided they wanted to leave or have more control.

WV and reading - that's an oxymoron!

And in the truth is stranger than fiction category,

There is no credible reason to think that an escape clause or special provision exists on the GOR for Texas. Remember, Texas is politically hand-cuffed to Baylor & Tech, the Board loves the millions of $ coming from the LHN to academics and the decision makers at Texas like the Sugar Bowl arrangement with the SEC.
