The whole sequence in Azzi's postgame interview went something like this:

Azzi: "After shootaround, I decided I was going to play. After all, what am I waiting for?"
Reporter: "So YOU decided?"
Azzi: (proudly) "Yes!" (then suddenly tentative) "Well, I guess, sort of, I suppose ..."

Geno is going to take more heat for letting players decide whether they are healthy enough to play. I think Azzi and Geno made the right move in this case.

Of course, we will have to see if she has any aftereffects in the next few days from 22 minutes of playing time tonight.

Geno said after the game, that in her first workout, Azzi made like 25 straight shots. Yep, we've seen those videos of her making 160 shots out of 165 (or something like that). BTW, she was out just over 9 weeks, since November 22. I look forward to seeing more of her.

I love watching Azzi shoot the ball. What a thing of beauty. Her shot seems very unique compared to other great 3-pt shooters. It is almost like she squeezes the ball out of her fingers w/o any effort, unlike other people who have a little extra push to get the ball towards the basket. So pure.

I love this interview. Azzi should take a least 15 shots per game. I enjoy watching it.
