Phew. The fact that many of the draftees have been playing basketball since October, and now have to recalibrate to a bigger, stronger, faster league in a short time is mind-boggling.

The prospect of pairing Azzi with Paige at Dallas is enticing. But after the UCLA win, I think it will be difficult to pass on Betts. Just saying.

The Dallas Wings as of right now and this already includes salary for Paige, Siegrist, and Ogunbowale, among others, the team salary cap has this available;

1st overall player chosen in draft $500,000

Max Free Agent #1 $1,000,000

Max Free Agent #2 $1,000,000

Roll Player #1 $420,000

That would put them at the team limit and the requisite number of player on the roster. In theory, they could have a pretty good team.
