I'm happy that they both went to Dallas, with the money they're making on the side in Texas it's all tax free. That's one of the major reasons that A'ja Wilson has stayed in Vegas due to no income tax.

I am proud of Paige for meeting the issue of her personal life head-on. I also noticed both Azzi and Paige look like they have been hitting the weight room...they look thick in the shoulders and the arms. I would imagine they needed to bulk up to handle the physicality of the league. I can't wait to see the two of them on the court...putting that Husky Chemistry on display.

I suspect, at least am hopeful, that the Wings will be much improved this season. And perhaps the biggest reason will be because they will be able to play some defense. Last season they were not a good defense team at all!

Alanna and Jess can certainly play defense, Paige and Azzi just came from UConn, so you know they will be better than average defenders. Arike? She couldn’t guard a phone booth, but hopefully the other players will be able to help cover.

I am excited for them.

I think that she could guard a phone booth, but her guarding any senior on a girls high school basketball player might be a stretch.😉
