Azura Stevens' transfer question

Just speculation on my part but her quote here "My experience at Duke has been amazing,” Stevens said in a press release announcing the departures. “I would like to thank the staff and the Blue Devil community for all their support over the last two years. At this time, I feel it would be best for my basketball career to go in a different direction."
This says three things, first she took the high road by thanking the staff when the entire outside world knows there is a problem within. Second she realizes her game is not going to improve under the current staff and last but not least someone of her caliber would probably like a shot at a NC. I can't think of a better place to achieve the last two. ;) :D

That is a "Canned" press release every transfer is supposed to have said regarding the coach , they system, the school, teammate!!
If that was half true---WHY TRANSFER?? I'm sure getting to Uconn and high recognition is an asset-but suppose Uconn didn't pick her up --what then??
I am thrilled beyond belief that Azura Stevens became a Uconn Husky--my comment was related to the "press release" which I question she had any part in writing--if you look at most of those "releases" you will see the same cl published in nearly all.

That settles that. But there must be something else to worry about. Isn't the moon supposed to crash into the earth someday, maybe into the Yukon, or is that the UConn?
I think I read where it shall crash on earth in about 300,000,000 years and I have had anxiety regarding this collision ever since. Now we know the sky can actually fall!!

It
It's part of the conspiracy--started by a group the color of an orange--to make Husky fans to think Duke would actually give up a player of Azura's potential, skills. Conspiracy for certain.

In this day and age, even old news are archived, not deleted. It seems like those links (story/tweet) never even happened, which is quite odd to me.
Conspiracy.

Actually, the Moon is receding from the Earth. You can check it yourself. If you look closely at the next full Moon, you'll see it's about an inch and a half farther away than it was last year.

The sky is falling--the sky is falling!!

I thought it was:
out there in the distance a wildcat did growl....
That's a good one I'll have to use in my next pulp mystery. My favorite really is "off in the distance a coyote howled."

I guess you prefer your wind to break Gus? I prefer a lonesome, moaning wind myself.
I'm really not a fan of wind of any kind. Maybe a cool breeze in the summer.

I had in there "some coaches' " but decided to make it more general . . .

"Off in the distance, sphincters could be heard to be tightening."
I can't sit down I laughed so hard....Oooops still having troubles with that colonoscopy playing peek a boo!!

That's a lot better than having them howling in your front yard in Granby Ct. Cats outside just disappeared. I felt shivers as the heavy breeze danced across her warm body--my favorite

Coyotes and wild turkeys repopulating all across New England I know. Heck, the turkeys were getting to be a problem on the Merritt Parkway exits when I left the state in 2002.

I was /am a slow learner--departed the state in 2003 that I was born, raised, partially educated in and found a land where land homes , heating, and taxes are (ridiculous) really low compared to Ct. Some (not you) would be surprised with the number of New Englanders here. The only thing I miss is going top lots of Uconn WBB games in Storrs and Hartford . But with SNY andBTn, SEC, ESPN and Sport CBS I don't miss any games...
