Highly unlikely. Don't players who transfer within conference have to sit out two seasons instead of one? Nobody's doing that.

Intraconference Transfer Rules
Many conferences have additional rules beyond the NCAA’s releases and residency requirements if you transfer from one conference school to another. Some require you to sit out two years, other require you to sit out one year but also lose that season of competition (as opposed to redshirting). Some conferences even prohibit athletes from receiving an athletic scholarship or being eligible at all if they transfer within the conference. Who the rules apply to are also different depending on the conference. Some conferences have different rules for football or men’s and women’s basketball, and some intraconference transfer rules do not apply to walk-ons. Be sure you know what rules apply to you if you plan to transfer within a conference because these rules often cannot be waived and have no exceptions. You will need to talk to your athletic department directly to get answers on your conference transfer rules.

She was one of the outstanding players in the McD AA game her senior year. She is some kind of raw talent!

Duke is ACC / South Carolina is SEC doesn't apply. One year out. Stevens will never end up at UCONN let it go people!!
Well at least she'll land on her feet. Nevertheless, in her elder years when she's looking back everyone will ask her, not how many points she's scored or how many MVP's she's won. No, the questions she'll be asked is "Where did you play and how many championships did you win".

Dawn has found a new way to recruit talent, just get the most talented of the transfers. If Stevens does end up in So Carolina, the most talented of the transfers over the last two years have gone to two schools Ohio State and So Carolina.

It will be interesting to see if SC and OS play like a bunch of disparate parts not teams that have been together from the start.....

Haven't seen this report myself but it certainly seems likely ........I can't see her going to ND or Louisville as they are stacked and are in the ACC, UConn is allergic to tall people..............Maryland???????????

Azura Stevens will never end up at UConn because 1) The fit is too perfect and she'll end up playing more and sooner than expected. 2) Her development at the 5 spot will be too far beyond her expectations. 3) The pressure and expectation of winning may be overwhelming . 4) It's too far from her home town and family. 5) She likes to twitter too much. 6) Geno's personality rubs her the wrong way. 7) The demands of Geno and his staff seem daunting to her. 8) This is finally her chance to be the focal point of an offense. 9) Storrs just isn't enough of a toddlin' town for her. 10) She doesn't like the idea of being snowed in for weeks at a time. 11) She wants to be on a team that finally takes down the new Evil Empire of UConn. Pick one or any two.

You had me at: "The fit is too perfect". Don't see her being a 5-Center, more like a nightmare 3/4 hybrid.
