Watched some of Baylor-Texas after UConn’s win Sunday afternoon. NaLyssa Smith is a huge talent with a well-rounded, polished skillset, as I was reminded again after our Elite 8 clash last March.

Given similar size, athletic profile, & style of play, NaLyssa should be a model for Ayanna Patterson to follow in her own development. Hopefully, she is already aware coming from a basketball family, with her drive to improve as a student of the game.

NyLyssa Smith is one of the top 3 college players in the country. She does not the national media coverage of other top performers. I just want to know why Baylor doesn't run every play through her. She is as close to automatic as they come.

Just has a knack for being able to put the ball in the hoop even when blanketed by defenders. I'd take her #1 overall if I was Washington this year.
