Sources also said that Duke could be among a handful of schools that UConn forward Alex Oriakhi talks to, after he announced Thursday he's transferring from the Huskies for his senior season. Oriakhi can play immediately as long as the Huskies' 2013 NCAA tournament ban, stemming from its poor academic progress report, is upheld.

Well, to be honest Alex coud really use a hug...

I was OK with everything going on with Alex, I really don't mind fathers coming unhinged when it comes to the welfare of their sons, but this? A Dukie???

Yeah, gross.

FYI, when I originally posted the link, the article did NOT say anything about Alex.

Isn't it going to be weird for Doc to coach against his son? I thought of this immediately when Doc was so freakin' happy over Austin hitting the 3 earlier in the year to beat UNC. I don't see Doc truly exploiting his son's weaknesses (and he has many at least initially) in an NBA game.

If I'm in the Celtics division Rivers moves up on my board because I think playing against him will screw with Doc's head. Austin Rivers should stay in school until Doc's contract is up.

There seems to be a realistic chance that the Celtics draft him. Ray's contract is up at the end of the year, the Celtics need a shooting guard for the future, and Rivers is projected to go in the mid-first round, right around where the Celtics figure to be picking.

That's an even worse conflict of interest. Starting with if you are one or two spots ahead of Celtics with Rivers on the board don't you extort a massive price in order to guarantee the filial reuinon!?

Wherever he went to school he was a one and done. He has skills that are still untapped. Two in a row now for dook. Not sure why but K must envy Cal.
