Augustana University announces move to D1 hockey

Only times I've ever heard Augustana mentioned in any context was back when Ken Anderson played for Bengals.
 
In before the inevitable comments on how they are getting more bang for their bucks in their arena build.
 
Assuming their plans to go Division 1 in men's ice hockey pan out, I would think they would be looking for membership in the new Central Collegiate Hockey Association.

Ken Anderson played at Augustana (Illinois) College, not the one in Sioux Falls.
 
Sports marketing at it's finest. Never even heard of this school before.

Just did a Wikipedia search: to add to the confusion they're both nicknamed the Vikings. And they originated together before a "Norwegian/Swedish" split in the 1860s.
