August is a week away!

I suddenly realized today that August is only a week away! I’ve had a smile on my face ever since. This means we are about to pass the halfway mark of the UConn summer doldrums! It’s all downhill from here, folks! Once we get through August, we’re into September and then, and then, October! That is when practice will start and we can actually start arguing/debating/rejoicing/reveling in a team that most of us believe is going to be among the best that has ever played here at UConn! I can’t wait!

Yep. Right there with you. August is 7 days away, which opens up football season, which means for us high school basketball coaches, 4 player workouts & team strength and conditioning. This also means, like you said, we getting closer and closer to actual talks about who is 100% healthy. Who is that 4th or 5th person starting and why. Like we don't have that discussion now but it just means more come September/October range. Right now we are just talking to be talking.

When everyone else does next month. The summer workouts ended the first week of July, and everyone went home after that until they have to return for the fall semester in August.

If Fall '25 semester starts Aug 25th that is frosh in a week before usually and others a few days.

I miss the days of add/drop in person in the fieldhouse(?!?!). I am guessing Add/Drop is online now so doable from your ipad before you head to Storrs.
