BTW, his real name is the same as my father’s real name. My dad had a sense of humor, but he was no Dangerfield. If anything he was more like the Crystal variety of Dangerfield. He played one game of pro football as a punter in the predecessor to the NFL and played what was called semi-pro baseball for a few years.
