There's no chance of that since Ayanna is out for the season, and Caroline has no return date.I am going to the Depaul game next Wednesday and am hoping we are at full strength.
Not getting any hopes up, however even if she got a few minutes, that's a good sign.
I second the motion.Terrific news, first and foremost for Aubrey, but also for the team. Griffin is such a phenomenal athlete that her availability can really be plug and play wherever we need it. Mostly though, I'm just happy she'll get a chance to play again.
I agree with you here. She can't have her "A" game on day one.Aubrey is a difference maker, maybe not on Sunday vs Seton Hall, but hopefully in March during the Big Dance.
Any time, any game our young lady Aubrey is one of the most exciting players to watch. Love what she brings to the game, plus she usually plays a mile a minute.I second the motion.
Aubrey coming off the bench is a game changer.
It’s like Geno tossing a grenade out on the court.
Let’s just be patient since Aubrey’s going to have to be cautious and shake off the rust and make sure the back is 100%.
If so…
Katie, bar the door!
Shock & awe!
Perhaps if she responds well to a pre-game day practice and has no setbacks, then she may get some playing time.I don't understand tweets like this. Either she's healthy enough to play or not. If's there's any doubt then don't play her. For the amount of time she has been out, I seriously doubt 1 day makes a difference.
Agree. And Seton Hall has family connections via her family...so it would seem perfect.I am hoping she will be a difference maker after a few games, and before Tennessee and South Carolina. Was thinking she would want to return during a home game.
Her dad was a Seton Hall standout in basketball, while her mother ran track and was an All American at Seton Hall.Isn't she from that area or her parents went to Seton Hall? I can't remember the connection. I feel with the personal connection, there is a good chance she gets some minutes.....
Probably true, but she's been participating in pregame warmups for about a month. I suspect she's been doing at least low intensity drills between games. Maybe the runway to 100% won't be that long. Having said that, I don't think Aubrey is the savior that many BY'ers hope and believe she will be. UConn will go where they will go even without Aubrey being the difference maker. I am (a minority opinion here) tampering down my enthusiasm. Aubrey, make my look stupid (please)!I agree with you here. She can't have her "A" game on day one.
Defense, rebounding, transition game would all be enhanced.Aubrey is a difference maker, maybe not on Sunday vs Seton Hall, but hopefully in March during the Big Dance.
