Aubrey’s mom posted this video

Wow, so this is something that a proud mom, or dad can only show what love is. What a great testimonial for one of the greatest human beings to wear a UConn uniform, not just a UConn basketball player. Aubrey has been through a lot, and I only wish she was able to have just one more season without injuries. Paige was able to do it, now Azzi is on the road to doing it, it's just that Aubrey ran out of time. She will always be one of the most beloved players to wear the UConn uniform, and I, along with all our fans, wish her all the luck and will follow her as she makes her journey into the WNBA. We will always love you Aubrey.

I just read that Aubrey will not participate in the Lynx training camp this year, instead will use the time to finish rehabbing her knee and getting stronger. She will maintain her status as a Lynx and will be welcomed back to camp next year. Good luck Aubrey, I think it is a good decision and I wish her well.

Thanks Mom, we kinda know how you feel. Your little girl became a UConn favorite, a game changer, a Natty Champion, need we say more. OK more it is. There is hardly a Husky soul who didn't wait for the moment Aubrey would shed her warmups jump up and head to the scorer's table. Ready to enter in a UConn uniform, ready to inflict chaos in the game more often than not, putting a hurt on her opposite player. Aubrey's entrance into the game meant that the pace and flow of the game would increase exponentially. Shots would be altered or blocked and rebounds would be ripped from wanting opponents. As always a show of physical superiority speed and always team first.
Aubrey was ours for 6 years, there will be a new player to take her roster spot, who we hope will bring a hint of the way Aubrey played. One thing for certain, no matter who takes her place, no matter what the newbie brings to the Huskies there will never be another like her. Good luck in the W Aubrey, no matter what life brings, you will always have UConn Nation, the BY, and most importantly Mom. Love you and already missing you in a Husky uniform.

Wow, another surgery? God bless her, hopefully they can get it right this time. Looking forward to seeing her play next year.

Beautiful. Aubrey is so lucky to have a Mom like that. I always wonder what I could’ve achieved if I did.
A very sad statement, to say the least. Let's look to the future, been there on that situation myself. May we all find a way.
Go Aburey

With ACL surgery, it's not that they got it wrong, it's sometimes other contributing factors that cause other issues - scar tissue, etc.
