Like the swirling towels too - nice touch. XL was juiced!

Was at the game today, thought the crowd was great. What a great feeling it was to watch competitive ball vs a good team on national tv. After a string of blowouts on national tv, it felt like we collectively awoke from a 2 year coma and the UConn basketball we remember was alive and well. Despite the loss, I was a very proud Husky fan today.

The only empty seats were in the corners behind the baskets, the crowd was great

And every good opponent is going to bring their own contingent with them. That's the norm, not some weird exception used to bash the home crowd. It's really hard to grasp how some people think sometimes. I don't get it

Surprising amount of empty seats in the lower bowl. I had 6 empty's to my right. And at least 10-15 in the rows below me.

Atmosphere was fun though. Louder than I can remember in the last few years.

If AZ had 2,500 fans, then UConn had 25,000
They had almost an entire upper corner behind their bench, probably 10 ten rows right in front of me in 201 and other big chunks throughout the arena. Couldn’t turn around on the concourse without bumping into a handful of their fans. Definitely a very good showing by them and indicitave of a big time program.

Quite a bit more than the 5,507 that came out for the last game.

They had an alumni and donor event for this game. They one pick one non conference game every year to show their fans basketball how it’s done around the rest of the country. So yes, they had fans there.

Zona had one lump of seats behind their bench and then 2/3 of one section.

Settle down, folks.
