She might've missed too many games to win ROY, but Chennedy has been playing well since returning from injury. She has 11 on 4-5 shooting midway thru Q2. Chicago is leading 32-25.

Chicago pulling away, up 50-36 approaching halftime. Sloot doing Sloot things--10 pts on perfect shooting and 7 assists. Copper has 13 and Quigley 10. Chennedy has 14 for the Dream and Laney 10.

Must've been a lot of action right before halftime. Atlanta cut the lead down to 7, but Chicago must've gotten a 3 to end the half. 55-45. Sloot w/ 12 pts on 4-5 shooting and 8 assists. That's already a solid game and there are 20 minutes left.

I think she went over 200 assists for the season and should hit 1900 for her career by the end of the season.

Chicago was up 17 but Atlanta quickly got it back down to 10.

Atlanta just won't go away, lead down to 4. Their big 3 are all in double figures, but so is Dietrick.

20 pts/9 assists for Sloot on 7-9 shooting--edit, also 6 rebounds and only 1 TO.

Now tied up. 28-18 ATL in Q3. Can the Sky manage another W this year?

Dietrick has 15, 4-4 from the floor, 3-3 behind the arc, 4-4 from the line, 4 assists.

8-0 run by Atlanta to seize control, 3 1/2 minutes left. 91-86.

Gabby got hot late, she scored 8 down the stretch, but too little too late. Dream up 8 w/ 26 seconds left. Wow, the Sky is just pathetic lately. Can't beat anybody (except Indiana, who has the longest losing streak in the league).

97-89 final. Atlanta was +18 after halftime. 24 for Laney, 20 for C. Williams, 16 for Chennedy, 15 for Dietrick. Laney and both of the Williams all had 10 reb.

22 pts/11 assists/7 rebounds for Sloot, 17 each for Quigley and Copper, 12 for Gabby.

Stevens going out for the season was just the death blow for Chicago.

The entirety of useful bench players they have is Gabby and Stef (if Ruthy and Cheyenne start). It's just not enough. They can't finish games anymore. Tonight, they hit the wall hard with five minutes left to play.

As good a starter as Copper has been, if Diamond was right she'd be coming off the bench.

With a healthy Diamond and Z Chicago are a championship dark horse. Now they're just an old nag. I almost can't bear to watch anymore.

Colson was decent for LV last season, but she barely plays for Chicago and thus has produced almost nothing. Pretty much every team is missing some pieces. Who would've thought Stevens and DeShields are the two most irreplaceable players in the league?

Colson has been truly awful. Every time they try to go to her the offense falls apart.

It's not so much that they are irreplaceable. It's that the Sky's chance to be great rested on depth and chemistry. They started with a small margin of error.

Sloot is awesome but there is only so much a pass-first PG that plays average D can do to takeover a game.

I'm happy that Blake is succeeding. She has some limitations and is a little turnover prone, but she's been an asset for the Dream. I think she'll have a roster spot next season somewhere.

I have a feeling Renee Montgomery will be retiring, so Dietrick may as well stay right there with the Dream, unless maybe Cazorla turns out to be better in camp.

You guys dont want her. Send her to the Liberty Pleeeeeeze

48% 3 point shooting.(4th in WNBA). A/TO is 3.4/2.0

The Liberty don’t need her with all the players they should have coming back. A quick projection.

Ionescu/Clarendon
Durr/Johannes/Jones
Nurse/Odom
Allen/Willoughby/(first round pick)
Zahui/Stokes

This would mean no Paris Kea, who looked to have potential. No Shook. Maybe they trade that draft pick or another player so they can keep Walker. It should be interesting to see what happens.

The Liberty haven’t been playing Zahui and Jones in these last games, presumably not risking a serious injury to them in meaningless games. But veterans Nurse and Stokes are still playing.
