Final Analysis
It's been a nice, feel-good season for Connecticut and second-year coach Bob Diaco, who has the Huskies trending in the right direction now after some lean years. But there's still work to do, especially on the offensive side of the football. Marshall is the more polished, established program right now -- and the one with a legitimate threat at the all-important quarterback position.

Prediction: Marshall 23, Connecticut 9

I have pretty good confidence in our offense under Sherriffs. That first TD drive against Houston is stuck in my mind, maybe, but when he's under center we are going to put points on the board.

There were quite a few games this year where UConn moved the ball nicely on their first drive of the game. More than once they scored on the opening drive. The problem has been sustainability. Once the opposing D adjusts the Huskies have no counter. Lets see what Verducci and Co can muster up for this all important next step.
