At Memphis, Wednesday January 24 Game Time Question

Anyone know why a mid-week game is slated for a 1:30PM start time? Is it a Holiday in TN?

Yes 1 PM EST start time. They warned us on the pre-game show that the pre-game for the next game starts at 12:30.

According to ESPN the game is scheduled for 1 PM EST.

Sunday's Game against Temple starts at 1 PM and is on ESPN2. Competing against the NFL Pregame shows.

Yup, but doesn't it seem strange to have a mid week game start at 1PM ET (12PM local)? Unless if they know a blizzard is on the way...but this game time has been set for quite some time.

Could simply be an arena availability issue.
