A hundred million here, another hundred million there, it starts to add up. The previous year UConn ranked 84th nationally with $285 million in external research unding. At $375 million this year I would guess they are getting close to the top 50. Not sure what the AAU standard is, but UConn has to be getting close. Some of the credit here has to go to Katseolus as well as Agwunobi.

They won't because the BoT won't allow it. If they handcuffed TomKat who was legit trying to make the University better all around, they're not going to allow someone to come in to try to do the same thing. All they see is dollar signs in their pockets and all else be dsmned.
