I expect Tulane and ECU to come in early. Only makes sense.

I think CUSA disagrees. Won't happen.

Enjoy I-AA #2!

I'm sure a buyout can be made. Sad that we're using money to free Tulane and ECU. Did I miss why this can't happen?

Would you like to compensate C-USA for jacking up it's entire schedule, as well as losing a conference championship game?

I said it can't be done because it can't be done.

Sounds similar to what BSU and SDSU just did to us. ;)

Apparently, ETSU and FAU will accelerate their entrance to CUSA to 2013. So maybe it could happen.

LMAO - I didn't want to blow up you're "I said it can't be done because it can't be done." - figured you missed that this morning.

well, here is a chance to entice a real team to play Uconn in NYC or Gillette. longshot, but maybe someone will want that game (guarnateed win in metro area)

I vote for So. Miss. I recognize some will say they stunk last year, but that also ignores a decent history, good following, good partner for TX schools, Tulane (god, did I just say that), and even FL schools. Please ignore Tulsa and UMass. I'd prefer Marshall to those 2.

Mountain West presidents just approved San Diego State rejoining conference, according to a source. Formal announcement next 20-30 minutes.

Ha - in 20 minutes.

I really, really did want to meet her though :(

This is sad.
My son and I we already planning to go to San Diego whenever Uconn played there.
Its about 5 hours of mostly empty interstate. No speed Limit
Lets revive the PAC talk
1 hour to Tempe two to Tucson
7 to LA
cheap flights to everywhere else.

The strange thing is that San Diego, and likely some of the other western schools, would have preferred to be with us but the Big East gave them no choice but to leave by not getting any other western schools and not providing a home for their Olympic sports.
