Q. What attracted you to the University of Connecticut?

A. The main thing that attracted me is that it’s a family environment. Coach (Kevin) Ollie is a great dude. He went to the same high school as me, which is Crenshaw High School; my freshman year that’s where I was at. Being from California, he knows what it takes to go out there and being able to handle that environment in the cold out there. He knows how to handle it. He was just telling me that I’ll be good and he would take care of me.
