So what I’ve been trying to point out for a few years might seem clear to some now (full ch!ef)

Army learned that even playing in a league like CUSA kills the program. They now curate a schedule that leaves them playing patsies every week to roll up a good record and everyone is happy.

Navy was playing a hand curated schedule of patsies and were rolling up great records. They then joined the American, where legitimate programs got to prepare for them every year and their 1930s football isn’t quite so novel. Spoiler alert: they now lose every week.

They kicked ass in the league when they they had Reynolds at QB. At some point they will kick ass in this league again. Yours is the John Feinstein argument.

Yes hitting the ground running is expected.

The American was stupid too - Houston had to beat USF by only 21 because Navy cut down Oliver.

Feinstein is 100% right and I’ve agreed with him from the beginning.

his knee was so bad that he couldn't play yet he's jumping up and down on the sideline like a cheerleader all game
