Here we go. ASU plays Stanford tough most of the time, so I'll predict another game where the 'Furd has to hang on at the end.

Color me shocked. Low scoring grinder. 3-0 Card almost 3 minutes in.

Stanford finally got moving. ASU stuck in neutral. 11-0.

Two things that appear different for Stanford early in the first qtr. 1. Williams hot early (6ts) and 2. Brink and Belibi on the floor together.

Is Brink in the running for PAC-12 FOY? She doesn’t have gaudy stats but they are very solid as a freshman starter on top-five (or six) team.

In the running. I think Leger-Walker is gonna win it going away, she's leading the league in scoring.

ASU made their ONLY FG of the quarter in the final 20 seconds. 19-7, shouldn't be anywhere near that close.

 I might not have nailed this prediction. 28-12 Stanford.

Prechtel back for the Card after being out on concussion protocol.

Jump with another strong game off the bench, leading the Card w/ 10. Kiana has 9. 33-16 midway thru Q2.

Williams got off to a slow start this season, but she's come around. 13 on 5-6 shooting so far today.

Jones has only played 6 minutes due to picking up 2 fouls.

You know what really impresses me about Brink? Her hands. If a ball gets in her vicinity, she possesses it. She makes tough catches in traffic. Many bigs are not blessed w/a good set of mits, but she is.

Does this basically mean that Brink plays for the winningest team?
Yeah, I can't help but think w/ no Brink, Stanford's record is pretty similar. W/ no Leger-Walker, Washington St. might not have a win in conference.

ASU shooting 22% overall and 20% behind the arc today. Same team that lost to UW showed up tonight.

Honestly, this game might be more indicative of what Stanford can do when they get more practice time at home. The Sun Devils are a team that Stanford has traditionally struggled with, so the combination of Stanford getting to play at home and the Sun Devils hitting a wall recently doesn't bode well for them.

18 for Kiana, 17 for Jump, 12 for Lexie, 11 for Jones.

11 for Walker and 10 for Hanson.
