Arizona Scouting Report

And Furphy since we though he 'could' play vs BYU... we definitely need more bench involved - cannot have AK playing 35+ every night and the Stew/Ross rotation of fouls got them each little rest.
He could have played against BYU, but he's not in the rotation. It has nothing to do with his injury, we're just not going to have a 12 man rotation

Solo must awaken from wherever he was vs BYU. Need more 3s from our sharp shooter .
More than the BYU game if you’re looking at threes. He's 8-26 (30.8%) in 4 games. 3-10, 1-2, 3-9 and 1-5 in the 4 games. He's going to break out at some point. Wednesday would be a good time to start.

Neither will karoma. 8 man rotation until Mullins gets back then 9.

Didn't shoot well against BC either. Something is a bit off. Hope he finds it soon.

He was 2-12 or something like that in the two exhibitions. What is worrisome he a lot of the misses were wide open good shots. I think I may be over reacting because of the Karaban slump last year.

Still, a 5-7 night would change everything. He has improved his overall game seemingly everywhere, 2-point %, rebounds, assists, steals, even blocks. And his defense is better. But the main thing is the main thing and getting back to being one of the best snipers in the nation would be a very, very good.

I feel good about this game as long as Reed is healthy. He was hobbled at the end of the BYU game but he didn't come out, which is a good sign.
A bruised tailbone isn’t stilling a Kodiak from eating

It's odd because when I went to one of those scrimmage practices in September, he legit couldn't miss. I wonder if he's dealing with a minor injury. Some of his shots have been way, way off

Keys to the game:

1 Gampel crowd be furious!
2 Tarris gets some buckets and the harm
3 Solo gets his shooting touch back
4 Limit dribble penetration and fouling during
5 Ross and Stewart defend better (they should as AJ foot speed, agility is singular)
6 Get Furphy some minutes behind Stew/Ross
7 Since AZ has near 1:1 assists to turnovers in their 2 “real” games with Fla and UCLA capitalize on their high turnovers

Will Solo be able to prevent their guard(s) from getting to the rim and can he stay out of foul trouble in the process.

I did not see @heyadrien!'s scouting report this morning and I was worried something happened to my man. This is going to be a nice college b-ball game. Two solid teams. If the free throws are even marginally close, we win this game by double digits.

With rosters up to 15 and a need to back up starters there should be one for each once Mullins is back.

1. Malachi for Silas
2. Furphy for Solo
3. Ross for Mullins
4. Stewart for AK
5. Reibe for Tarris

That leaves Koroma, Millender, Jacob Ross, 2 Euros as break glass.
