Arizona Post Game Thread

Mannn I have only be excited for time after a lose & that was against Kansas 2yrs ago … put ya future bets in bc we are in a crash course for the 3rd title in 4 yrs … Eric just got a big boost of confidence after this game & I only pray that Hurley sees what he got & starts to encourage him & feed his confidence bc what he can do will create a major problem for defenses… we gotta fix our ft issue of course but this game would’ve easily won if we had Reed hands down … much respect to zona tho they are def a top 5 team but UConn at full strength is the best team in the country and I expect them to dominate the big east … Solo has to slow down a little bit he forcing his game & I truly believe when Mullins comes back it’ll free yo more opportunities for cuts & open shots … demary will consistently bet 6-8 asst per game with his drive & kick game … Karabann just need to be steady Eddie for us & everything will take care of itself if everybody is healthy we can’t be beat … get those bets in boys this is gonna be a exciting season 🐺🏆

BYU definitely does something AZ doesn't, hit 3s. Saunders can rip them, was 5-9 tonight - that kid will find himself onto an NBA roster, even through he's already 37 years old. I'll argue that we don't know how good AZ will be as they are still very young.
Arizona is shooting 37% from 3 this year, BYU is shooting 34% this year. Though to be fair Arizona shoots very few per game

Forget Reed.

Karaban was invisible on offense for 24 minutes.

And what has happened to Solo Ball? 1-8 from three. Now 26% on the season.

If these guys just play mediocre we win.
Reminiscent of the Florida game.....plus McNeeley was just as bad missing open shots.

22% if you include the exhibition games against Boston College and Michigan State where he went a combined 2/15. He has 11/49 on 3 pointers this year including exhibition games. If you go back to the NCAAT last year where he shot a combined 4/14 we are seeing a combined 15/63 which is about 24%.

Consider me officially concerned about his 3 point shot-that's a large enough sample size.
