Nice defensive battle going on here.
15-11 CO with 4:18 left in half

Cats really missing McDonald. I would definitely expect more offense from U of A in the second half.

As ASU found Friday night the Buffs are a tough out.

19-19 at the half. A bit of a rockfight. Arizona's defense is keeping them in the game, but they're struggling today on offense without McDonald.

I would not expect Cate Reese to go 0 for the second half. If she starts to play to her average I would expect the Cats to pull away particularly if the Buffs can't find it an answer for the Cat's defense.

First to 40 wins? Tied at 33 w/ 8 minutes left. Egads this must be ugly.

Can the Buffs hang onto a 6 pt lead for another 2 min or will they choke?

Colorado finally beats somebody good, but put a huge asterisk next to this one w/ no McDonald.

The asterisk applies when and if McDonald returns and plays up to her old form. :) (I'd love an asterisk on all our games without Jones and Carrington this season, but that's not how it works while they're still on the bench...)

Unless and until, you're only as good as whoever can suit up to play today.

All this game proves is that Colorado is the best 16-11 team in the country, dropping extremely close games to top ten Stanford (twice) and UCLA. So you can take that asterisk and...

Happy for the Buffs to hold on against a good team. So many heartbreakers this year, especially the recent Stanford game.

Maybe for now, but after Duke's next game they might claim the crown of best 16-11 team (@triaddukefan may confirm)

Let's talk about their losses to Utah, Washington and Washington St. I couldn't help notice you were nowhere to be found every time they lost to somebody they probably shouldn't have lost to.

I think some of yall (not mentioning any names) are trying to raise my blood pressure today

Lemme log off and go for a walk on this 61 degree afternoon.

Yeah Colorado has 1 Q1 win (today), and 1 Q2 win (USC), and that's it. And the aforementioned 3 Q3 losses. That is not a lot to hang an NCAA bid on. I would agree that they often look better than they are ranked, but their win column is shockingly meager even after today's upset. And whereas AZ can get an asterisk for the loss if McDonald returns healthy and in form, CO's win also has to have an asterisk regardless, because AZ is clearly not a top 10 team without her, and they won with her out.

Arizona took a 3-point lead in 4Q and then completely flatlined. Went scoreless in the last 6:35 of the game.
