Well that's an interesting turn of events...
Exactly. I thought that participants get paid?No shade at all, but I am surprised the NCAA is letting her do this.
This seems odd to me. Isn't she still in school for the spring semester? I guess we're really getting loose with the term student-athlete.
I'm also surprised both she and the school were willing to take this risk in regards to injuries, as it has happened with other contestants on DWTS.
Can we make fun of Blue for knowing who's gonna be on Dancing With The Stars?I am begging the Moderators to PLEASE FIX THE TITLE TO "ARIKE", I know she is not a favorite of ours but give her the respect she deserves...and yes, let's continue to make fun of our @HuskyFanBlue for misspelling her name either intentionally or unintentionally as her first name is the easy part, her last name -yee gads...

Shouldn't you be petitioning ABC to have a "sports sideline commentators" edition of DWTS so your meme can get on???Paige VanZant was my favorite athlete to compete on the show. I believe she was runner up.
I've just seen on ESPN that Kareem and Tonya Harding are also included on this "Dancing" confection.

Storied history? I guess a championship every 20 years qualifies for “storied”. Cmon, the ND hype propaganda machine needs no help.In the storied history of Notre Dame Women's Basketball, Arike Ogunbowale finished this season with the most points and highest scoring average for a single season in school history and set a new school record with 25 games with 20+ points. Ogunbowale also tallied the fifth most points in NCAA Tournament history with 145 total points (24.2 ppg). Quite an accomplishment. This was definitely here season. And now she is going to be on DWTS. One would have to believe that the figure skaters have an advantage here.
Whom did Ms Ogunbowale supplant at the fifth spot?
1. 177—Sheryl Swoopes, Texas Tech, 1993 (5 games)
5.
6. 144—Maya Moore, UConn, 2010 (6
Just be on a look out for Jeff Gillooley. If someone says they just saw Jerry Seinfeld in the hall with a bat, go out the other door.Tonya Harding ???? Oh brother. If I am Arike, I would worry about an "accident" happening to my legs.
The NCAA may be opening up a bit:
Opinion: NCAA breaks its rules for 'DWTS', and that's progress
