I hate losing just as much as everyone of you, if not more. Im a diehard uconn fan. You know what? Last year during our struggle i NEVER EVER lost hope. Im a fan whether we got 0-18 in big east play or 18-0. If i remember correctly alot of you guys lost faith last year during our 9-9 big east record. You guys need to keep the faith. Stop bashing the players. Because im damn sure that none of you are anywhere near as good as any of our players, including the walk ons. To go out and bash amateur athletes that you guys "love" is wrong. Lets not pretend there playing in the NBA. lets remember theese kids bust there ass in the gym, in class, studying, and doing all the other stuff they have to do for the university. They have a full schedule and work there asses off. You guys saying theese kids have no hearts is wrong. From this point forward if your gonna bash the team GET OFF THE DAMN BANDWAGON. Uconn needs true fans thru the good and bad. No wonder why are fanbase gets such a bad rep by opposing schools. Sorry for the long rant pissed off that people can run there mouths like that but claim to love them. Losses happen. Whens the last time a team has gone undefeated thru out the year? Losses make teams strong.

You dont bash players hearts. Do you guys remember the story they did a couple years ago in the courant? The one where they followed the players around? They got in from the Notre Dame game at something like 3:30 or 4Am, then got to class 3 hours later. Lets not forget that theese are STUDENT athletes. There not getting paid. They bust there asses. Players read this stuff. Your not coaches you dont have the right to question players heart. Are you with them in the gym seeing theese guys? Im not but im 100% sure that Coach Cal runs his practices alot harder then most coaches.

Nobody likes to lose. Especially to Seton Hall & Rutgers, back to back. Nobody saw that coming a few weeks ago. This team needs to get it's act together. I'm sure it will.
Normally, I don't post much when I'm as frustrated as I am right now. But, others are allowed to vent as much as possible. The way this team is playing, at present, I'm sure they would say the same. I can imagine what JC is telling them in practice today.
It's a very long season. Tune in in March. Things could become a hell of a lot better by then.

Not sure if I am a fan by your definition but I found nothing enjoyable about last night and very little to cheer about. In fact I saw some disturbing things last night. Some people are better than others at restraining their negative thoughts. Guess what much of the complaints (or bashing like you said) that I read are valid and probably shared by the coaching staff.

These are scholarship Div 1 players, who have championship pedigree, no need to coddle them.

If we weren't fans, we wouldn't be upset when the team plays like crap. I'm sorry Buffett that was a worthless post. True fans tell it like it is. True fans get disappointed and frustrated when their team when the play like garbage. How is it only "bandwagon" fans criticizes players. Bandwagon fans simply wouldn't care that much to take the time to discuss the teams performance on here. I agree that some people take it too far, but a lot of times the criticism is justified. This is a UConn message board, where you discuss everything about UConn including how they played, both the good and the BAD.
