Montgomery, Moore, and Charles? We only had the latter group together for two years but we'll have this new group together for four. I can't speak to positions or skill set so perhaps someone more knowledgeable than myself can. I would think there's plenty of room for comparison. This group may even be better, especially if consistently surrounded by good talent for four years.
What makes this so interesting is the fact that they are 3 Very Elite FR It was not until Renee's SR Year,Tina's JR Year and Maya's SO year that we won a NC with these icons! We went to the FF Renee JR,Tina SO,Maya FR!
This group is going to have to go through defending NC/Griner SR,Simms JR,and 4 SRS to win it all this year! We will have more overall talent this year and incredible depth this season and even next season,the talent in 2014 is there with the question being who we end up with in the class of 2014 to go with 4 potential AAs plus 2 SRS in Kiah and BB! SO Chong and FR Ekmark! We should end up with more depth and potential monster FR class!
There seems to be universal belief that Stewart is going to be mentioned in the same breath as the best to have ever played at UCONN! Mo certainly should/can be better than Renee<with no disrespect to her> Tuck has the potential to be so very special!
Though individually they bring some different talents than Renee,Tina,and Maya,they may end up accomplishing more! Now that is saying alot when we consider Renee AA, 2 ,1 NC,Tina 2xAA,POY,3 2 NCs,and Maya 4xAA,4 FF,2x POY,2 NCs! This is just a partial list of accomplishments/awards! If I am off at all someone will add to this I am sure! I know Wade,Naismith,Wooden,BE POYs etal BE championships and more!
