I know other quality centers will reveal themselves in this class over the summer, but I think (outside of Toure) this is the dude. He is a huge trash talker and it's awesome - a la Spencer, Toure, Ajax. I want this guy on attitude alone. Got a little bit of the Reed/Shaq inconsistencies to his motor, but Hurley will hammer out the kinks. He's got all the tools to be a giant Sanogo with more shotblocking.

Third highlight: did he just fake a one footed fadeaway in the post and then go to a spin move jump hook off the glass??!

Little late to the game with him, but we are UConn and definitely have a compelling pitch for him with our history of centers and winning. Bring him in and slide Reibe over to PF in 2026, nobody would dare challenge us or be able to defend us in the paint.

Kid is gigantic.

Adidas circuit is STRONG this year. They made serious money moves this off-season. My old buddies at BABC must be pretty happy

He’s looked very good on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit.

I think our best class going forward is one CG (Rippey?) one wing (Toure?) and one big (this kid?).

Hurley of course knows. But there’s a balance to be struck between high-impact recruits and seasoned veterans.

In the FIBA U-18 game last year, in which Abdou Toure' had 51 points (of the team's 101 in a 105-101 loss), Diane had 22 in 29 minutes. So the two combined for 73 of the team's 101...........against Mainland China.

Not too shabby for two guys who probably met shortly before that tournament, so maybe they'd do well together at UConn.

Diane was 10/14 on two's, 0/1 on three's, 2/5 on FT's, 10 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 2 TO's, 5 fouls
and was +11 for the game.

Toure' was 15/16 on two's, 6/11 on three's, 2/2 on FT's, 2 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 0 TO's, 2 fouls and was +3 for the game.

Agree on this mainly. Though as of right now Trey Thompson and Jahda Swann are ranked the same as Jacob Ross on 247. I think we may nab a 4th or 5th freshman if they are developmental/outside the top 150 - per Moore's presser

How about bringing him early to develop and get an earlier bag versus waiting a year year? Get him before everyone else starts throwing offers to him?

If they could have played 40 minutes each, they would have won.

Man Mainland China must be bad! 14 million people live in Guinea!
