He sucks at basketball and we never actually wanted him. He could’ve been a HOF player if mentored by our coaching staff, now he will inevitably be a college role player at best. The lack of iq in that decision alone shows he not a UConn level player.

Months may have been an exaggeration, but I think my point was that we have context clues that we liked Diane, but not much coming from the other direction. We made his top 12, but most of the chatter from the 247s and On3s has been about Houston the last month, and he scheduled visits to Houston, Kentucky, and Arkansas back in the beginning of August and didn't schedule one with us (and in articles mentioning who he was potentially scheduling visits with, we usually weren't mentioned).

There was optimism when we watched him a ton, but nothing built from there.

Could be. Houston supposedly leads but they have a freshman Chris Cenac. Although it's much more likely Cenac is in the NBA next year than Reibe.
