I'm sure this has been covered here and I apologize for not knowing...but is Tuesday, April 16th the last day underclassmen can declare for the draft? I know the NBA deadline appears to be the 28th of this month, but I'm confused about the difference between the 2 deadlines. Bottom line...would Shabazz have to declare by this Tuesday?

24th is the last day to put your name in for the draft.

the college deadline is essentially meaningless, the NBA deadline is the real deadline. Draftexpress did a good job explaining how the new(since last year) process works

The NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee, made up of up to 20 NBA team executives, sounds like a very useful tool for college undergraduates to evaluate their position. However, I haven't heard about any players taking advantage of this evaluation this year. It seems like those who have declared are definitely staying in the draft. Of course, perhaps the NBA does not release the names of those who have requested the evaluation.
So, from the draft express article it seems like players have until April 16th to withdraw from the draft and retain college eligibility but can declare up until April 28th (automatically losing eligibility if they declare after 4/16).
