I am not staunchly against them changing the mascot, but this looks awful to me. and the only difference I see is more eyeliner on A than B. His mouth shouldn't be open, it looks like a zoo mascot made to befriend children. Obviously childrens point of view matters to the mascot design, but the adult fans should be able to respect it too. I think if they close the mouth a bit like our current mascot, it'll be fine

I think the difference is A has a slightly Blue coloring to it, while B is more a more realistic Gray.

B has lighter skin, wider fatter face, bigger eyes -- more of a lovable baby / yogi bear look. A is narrower face, darker, smaller eyes -- more of an adult hunter/predator look. Slight difference but visible. Personally I like B for a mascot, it shouldn't scare children. Let our football players do that.

Make the face white (you know, like the actual logo) and they'd be vastly improved.
