If Newton was more efficient he’d for sure be the star player and POY candidate with the other numbers he puts up.

He’s averaging 15, 7, and 6 on 40% shooting. Nobody else who is getting big minutes on this team is shooting under 48% from the field (which is insane from a team standpoint).

If he’s even a 45% FG shooter he may be the legit star averaging close to 20 PPG. His offensive usage is made for him to be that guy.
