AP Poll- Week 12

I think we end up at 19. Worst case seems like it's 21, but I think we stay ahead of FAU and Providence. Lot of ranked teams lost, and there was a pretty sizeable gap between us at 15 and the group of teams from 18-22
 
nobody we can jump. marquette and auburn definitely jump us, very likely baylor as well. maybe charleston, although i think they stop getting the token rise at about this spot. dont think anybody else goes ahead of us.

a lot of L's in the top 15. We lost on the road in a tough game, and then obliterated butler at home. I reckon we move 2-4 slots back. My guess, 17.
 
18 for me. My son says 21.

Anybody who watched the Seton Hall game after watching us get ran off our home floor against SJU wouldn’t dare put UConn in their top 25

Thankfully voters don’t watch the games so we will probably end up in the high 20s, maybe low teens since a lot of ranked teams lost last week
 
Well, when you lose 5 out of 6 conference games that include bad losses you deserve to be out of the top 25. The team has to handle it's business from here on out with decisive road victories needed. This team couldn't handle the pressure being ranked for whatever reason so they can now wear the underdog jacket they are most comfortable with. It's all about seeding now.

Cool, but we're #19.
 
19 sounds about right. Resume is still very strong.

Have #13 Xavier and @Depaul this week. Losing to Xavier and beating Depaul does nothing for us.

Beating #13 Xavier and losing @Depaul would be 1 step forward, 3 steps backwards.

2-0 this week, we move back into the top 15. Leggo.

We only play Xavier this week. It is all or nothing.

I think posters misinterpreted the OP's point. This is week 12, not week 20. Where will we be in week 20? I'm hoping deep into the NCAA tourney.

With that said, and since we don't have a thread for the current week, I'lll post our lone BE weekly honoree here:

Meanwhile, in NET rankings, things are beginning to stabilize. The top 13 all held serve and there were no new entries to the top 25. Only three teams in top 100 moved up or down more than three slots, with Butler being the biggest mover, minus 11 from 86 to 97. Doubtful they ever come back to top 75, which costs us a Q1 win at Hinkle. The Johnnies are still flirting with top 75, moving up from 81 to 79. Hopefully they can gain top 75 status before tourney seeding.

It was definitely just a typo, he's been making these threads every Sunday for people to guess the current week. Probably had 20 on the mind since his post was about staying top 20
 
I dont want to hear another complaint about voters for the rest of the season from anyone including myself. 19 is insanely generous. This team should not be in the top 25. That being said they have a chance to prove that ranking on Wednesday.

I think they’re right and we have something coming for Xavier. That win yesterday felt too easy, we didn’t expend much energy. Now we have Samson with some game experience back. Cautiously optimistic that the mid-season skid is over.
 
So crazy, I kno wudda shudda cudda, but if clingan was in there on that last play to grab the board against seton hall, we win that game- go 2-0 on the week, and probably climb to 11 or 12- instead we cud be one Xavier loss from falling out of top 25.
