AP Poll: UConn drops to 21

@DaveBorges: #UConn drops from No. 19 to No. 21 in this week's AP Top 25.

@DaveBorges: Louisville up to No. 5, Cincy at No. 13, Memphis (whom Huskies have beaten twice) at No. 19 and SMU (who's beaten UConn twice) at No. 25.

Feels like most wide-open NCAA tourney since UConn won in 2011. Huskies #21 in final poll that year. Huskies #21 in final poll this year.

Despite the awful performance Saturday, the damage wasn't too bad here. Most people have us as a 5 seed currently. Didn't move much in the polls. RPI stayed at 29. Caught a break with Cincinnati being the 1 seed, so SMU and Ville are on the other side of the AAC Bracket.

Memphis game would really solidfy them as a 5/6 seed with a win. I actually think we matchup well with them, but I hate having to beat them 3 times in one year, and twice on their floor. But if we can, I also like the matchup with Cincy. Beat them as well, and we have a chance to be a 4 seed.

They lost twice last week. Given both bodies of work, we most definitely deserve to be ranked ahead of them. Don't get caught up by the score of 1 game, but by W's or L's.

At first I felt good, then I look at all the jokers ahead of us. Duke lost to the 115th ranked team and moved 1 spot. These polls are a joke.

I think we all know it's a gift but we have been screwed more often than not on polls. Pretty important game thurs for team's psyche.

As fans, a 39-point loss is worse than a 15-point loss. I'm not sure the rest of the world cares, really. We lost at Louisville. A lot of people lose at Louisville.

Why we lost one game? As a 10 point dog to the #5 team in the country on their home floor on senior day. I do not care if we lost by 400. It is still just 1 loss.

The over reaction on this board and lack of understanding of the fact there are teams other then UConn who lose games is mind boggling.
