odd that they called it a beatdown since the game wasn't decided until the made shot by Luis with a minute left. This will make the win at MSG sweeter. ESPN predicts that St. Johns has a 61.6% chance of victory for that game.

In a game like Creighton, do wonder if Hurley gets a little creative. They're not a pressure team, could conceivably let guys like Solo/Liam take it up the floor and put Stew out there as one lineup. This should be a game Mahaney could handle.

Tried to explain to people here for years the nastiness of St. John’s fans and all I get are people saying we wish them great success because it makes our league better. Uh no.

My guess it was Brandon Tierney, who is a St John's fan/former employee and all around idiot when it comes to sports takes
