Doesn't hurt the team to start unranked. I think we end regular season as a top 15 possibly top 10 team, Bouk makes Big East First team and Adama or Andre wins Big East Freshman of the Year.

Team unranked at the start but we've seen years ranked where we shouldn't have been. Rankings are strange, but I don't know we deserve one at this point.

Why did Jon Rothstein vote us 25 but have us 30 in ‘The Rothstein 45’?

Love the home cooking from Borges.

I would think its because he wanted to make sure we got at least a vote, if we get one it places us around 30th (a little lower than that though)

"My team to win the conference is going to be Villanova. My bold prediction is UConn's gonna be an Elite Eight team. UConn is back."

He said UConn has the pieces to be really good: "enough experience, talent, a go-to player in Bouknight, legitimate frontcourt depth, maturity." He also picked Andre Jackson to win Big East Newcomer of the Year award.
