Wow talk about a turn around in the off season 21-28 high scoring just the middle of the 2nd quarter too! SMU only averaged 11 points a game last year... this is no power I offense.
 
Yup. I just made some loot on the 1H over and we have an entire 2Q to play.

Suddenly, I am not looking forward to our games with SMU.
 
And two impressive true freshman RBs gouging Baylor's D.
 
Baylor is easy to root against.

Question, are there any power house programs that still run out of the power I? Isn't bama even gearing more towards a spread last few seasons?

My issue is more the systematic cover up of rape and murder - but I also hate teams that don't play defense.
 
We caught Baylor at the right time in our program's history. They've produced quite an offensive machine since RGIII put them back on the map.

Morris is gonna do well at SMU..right person for the job...former Texas HS coach who the Tx hs coaches can identify with and some may have been a peer of his. They haven't taken a liking to Charlei Strong and with the amount of talent in that state he could get SMU back in no time.

They actually had a graphic last night that showed where Briles and Morris coached HS football in TX ...that they won 7 state championships between them...and that had both coached at the same school at different times.

No, football is wide open and fast, fast, fast now. Quarterback gets the ball fast, gets rid of the ball fast and it is all about big plays on both sides of the ball. The 90's style Dallas Cowboy, I formation play action game is pretty rare these days.
