Anyone watching FSU-South Carolina?

72-67 Megan Conwright rushes the layup and gets a foul that was not a foul. How is that smart on FSU part? Its a two possesion game with a minute left, if you dont get that call the game is essentially over. This is why UCONN is so good. Their players actually THINK.

Just a lack of awareness.

I don't know what's worse- Staley's whining, Peck's announcing, or the officiating...... all stink.

74-72. I really like this Romero kid. You can tell she knows the game of basketball.

If FSU could make foul shots they would be in the drivers seat. Have missed 3 since about 4 mins to go. This even though they have a better % than SC.

Another nice play by Romero. This could of been a different game in Conwright gave her the ball when the game was 67-67.

Good run, FSU. I guess South Carolina can make free-throws when it matters. 4-4 when it mattered. Congrats, Coach Dawn and South Carolina on going to the Final Four.

SC coach mentioned that this victory signifies several things, the first was that basketball has been good to her! She needs to prepare for an Oscar acceptance speech.

South Carolina squeaks by again....I can't help but think that ND was pulling for them. I can't help but think that ND is going to chew them up. USC has just had way too many close games to foster much confidence.

I didn't know chickens had 9 lives?

They certainly must as South Carolina survives another close call. Tough life for the top of the SEC <<insert sarcasm here>>

Florida got hosed. This is why Geno likes to leave "No doubt". Because in a close game with extremely inconsistent officiating there's plenty of doubt as to who the best team was on any given day.

Great effort by FSU. Bummed that they lost, but it's survive and advance and SC did that. Wasn't pretty, wasn't dominating, but they got the job done. Not to take away from the original tenor of the thread, but it just reinforces what a huge gap there is between UCONN and everyone else. Only UCONN has looked completely dominating in every aspect of the NCAA's thus far.

Blue, you are absolutely correct. Geno knows that if given the chance refs will make calls against UConn in a tight game. So Geno has decided , just as you said , to leave " No Doubt ".

Or, stop calling fouls on the opponent because the score differential is really big.
