Brilliant scheme that uses mis-direction and tempo. They didn't really have any dynamic playmakers. Just very imaginative HC and OC coordinator that kept the defense off balance and guessing all game long.

Should be required viewing or the press contingent that follows the Huskies. Sometimes it is the Xs and Os that make the difference,

Been saying for years now - offense is the name of the game today in college football. Offense and more offense. 49-48, even if you lose the game is exciting and memorable . Much more TV appealing.

But all we seem to hear in response was " smash mouth football" that's who we are. Just put up 10 pts and our defense will do the rest. That approach made us the ugly duckling of big time college football.

I think UConn's biggest sin was making it too the Fiesta Bowl. And then having a joke of an offense that couldn't score a single TD that day (the only program that New Years Day win or lose that didn't score an offensive TD) just to reinforce the nations opinion. TV and the Bowls blew a gasket - "Don't be sending us this kind of Pop Warner outfit again". We have high schools down here with more exciting offense.

Offense was impressive. The defense, not so much.

Arizona had much more "talent." But Nevada moved through them like they were air.

We need to offer CAHusky our condolences. I still don't know how the f&%k Nevada lost that game.

Im used to it. This was the third game this year they lost in a similar fashion. The loss to south Florida was even more brutal if you can fathom that. Truly astonishing.

The problem with some of these coaches that are offensive savants, is that the have an equal inability to prepare their teams to play defense.

Well, the good news is we have a team that is prepared to play defense. The bad news . . . No one in college football cares. Offense is the name of the game, unless you've got Alabama talent.
