Interesting start to this thread.
OP puts into the Title, the phrase, "Anybody wanna do...," and in the post describes the imagined process.
@uchusky goes big right out of the box, ignoring that the title doesn't say, "Anybody else...," after assuming that
@Scoe might have put out the call without himself wanting to do the simulation. Then, he goes one further, by speculating that nobody would want to do the simulation. Powerful. But smart?
@Scoe interprets the "No" response as interest, and then apologizes for trying to do somethng fun.
Thank you for your interest, sorry if I'm trying to do something fun.
@uchusky32 comes back as though he's just answering a question, ignoring *what* the question was. He even allows for the possibility that someone might say "Yes," but if that were the case, the moment that it happened, it would make his earlier "No" answer instantly incorrect. But than he chides
@Scoe for being sensitive upon receiving a direct answer to his question, to the point of laughing in his direction...even though it's increasingly apparent that he's misread or misunderstood the question and likely won't survive even the most generous interpretation of the initial question. All it will take is any one additional person to this to move forward, followed by somebody doing it.
Just answered your question since you asked. Maybe someone else will say yes. Don't ask a question if you don't want a no. So sensitive. Lol
And then
@Scoe starts the games.
The question is answered, "Yes," AND within a post or two, the enterprise has some seeming fans.
At this point, in order for
@uchusky32 's "No" answer to be legitimate,
@Scoe would have to claim that he doesn't really want to be doing the sims. I don't think that's gonna happen.
I wrote this in the time it would have taken to fill out brackets. Carry on.
