I agree with RJP, but what I really find interesting is how quick some are to "jump" on one of Geno's (apparently) better friends in the business. And while it was a number of years ago (Cappie was still at RU) I was at a USA Basketball scrimage in Boston where Geno brought the UConn team to watch their teammate that was on the team. Foster was coaching one of 2 USA squads, and spent the entire other game sitting in the stands with Geno chatting.
I can't see Foster (or most coaches) running up the score. There are some (CVS is one) who don't really care about the score, they will play the players they will play to develop their own team as best they can. As a result, you might actually win by 50 a game you should have won by 30 (or win it by 10 when it should have been 30). I suspect that was what Foster was doing.
