Just realized this, on Friday UConn hockey starts at 4 at Toscano, so plenty of time to get to Gampel and super convenient. I would hope you could park in the same spot for both hockey and basketball games.Very good scheduling and very cool to see, this is a rarity where you can just walk from one game to another.

I have pulled off a double before it was in Dallas for a Yankees- Rangers game followed by a Cowboys-Giants Sunday night game. It's a long day but a lot of fun, really a once in a lifetime experience. Wish I had planned ahead for this.

Thinking about it. Staying at my sisters for the weekend. She’s lives about 15 minutes from campus. I think Ted’s will be calling my name in between lol

Sort of did it once. Rangers playoff game in '68 one weeknight at MSG, as a 9 year old, followed by opening day at Yankee Stadium the next afternoon.

Haven't done it but if I won a million bucks I think I could pull it off.

2/11/1984 went to a UConn- St John's game at the HCC on a Saturday afternoon and a Whalers- Flames game on that Saturday night. Remember the news had a time-lapse video of the changeover between games. The next day I returned to the Civic Center and saw the Whalers beat the Wayne Gretzky Edmonton Oilers 11-0 on a Sunday afternoon.

There was at least once during the BE tourney when the semifinals were on Saturday afternoon, also attending a Knicks game that night.

Also attended a Yankee - Red sox game at Yankee stadium on a Friday night and a Mets - Expos game at Jarry Park in Montreal the next night since we drove up to the Olympics in 76.

You reminded me of a boyhood memory
Back in the olden days of baseball we would go to a Double header on a Sunday
Take an early train to Grand Central
Then a Woodlawn Jerome Subway to the Stadium in time for BP That train came above ground and stopped right behind The Centerfield Bleachers for an amazing view of the old Stadium
We watched both games unless they went long and took a late train home
My Dad ,Uncle , older Brother and friends
I never realized until I was older how important those trips were and how lucky I was . Hopefully you have a young one to take , they will never forget it .
