The email I received from UConn said the Official UConn Fan Hotel is the Sheraton. Not sure if the team is staying there or somewhere else.

Team is staying in Phoenix downtown, not Glendale?
That's what I'm trying to figure out. I did find something that says that the Sheraton Grand Phoenix is going to be one of the four host hotels

It was from UConn Athletics about NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four Travel Packages. Content from email below.

Hotel & Ticket Maximum: 1 Room at Sheraton (Official Fan Hotel) and 8 Game Tickets

To order Final Four packages during your reservation window, we encourage you to call 855-216-8511 for concierge service. At the start of your booking period, you will receive a link to view additional travel package information and/or to book online.

Travel Package Pricing:
Single Room: $2,820
Double Room: $2,040 per person
Triple Room: $1,810 per person
Quad Room: $1,690 per person

We expect packages to sell out so make your reservation and secure your spot to follow the Huskies. Guarantee your accommodations, game tickets and more by ordering online or via phone during your designated booking window. Reservation windows are based on Husky Athletic Fund donor level.

Please note, travel packages do not include airfare or airport transfers. To meet the NCAA’s hotel room obligation for participating schools, packages include hotel, game tickets, transportation to the arena, and pre-game reception. Should packages with hotel rooms sell-out, packages with game and pre-game reception tickets may still be available. Please check your email at the start of your reservation window for updated information and availability.

The NCAA provides each participating school with a limited number of tickets, which must satisfy all institutional obligations, including tickets for student-athletes’ and coaches’ families, donors, etc. Current Husky Athletic Fund donor level and priority points will determine seating location and availability. Tickets may not be available for all donor levels.

Thanks again for your support of UConn Men's Basketball and our student-athletes. Go Huskies!

Thank you! Hopefully this means it’s the team hotel too. I love the pre game send offs and the party after each win

Last year was a little ridiculous- the team stayed at a boutique hotel, and if you weren’t staying at the hotel- it was hard to access any of the fun there because of how small the hotel and bar was.

Hoping it’s at a bigger place ala 2014 in Dallas where all fans can go in as they please.

Does staying in downtown phoenix make sense? Will it be a pain to get to and from stadium from an Uber situation? Public transit looks to be non existent

Dallas was awesome. The media stayed in the same hotel as UConn and there was a huge lobby where you could hang out and gets pictures/autographs.

Fan hotel is the Sheraton Downtown, 340 N 3rd St, Phoenix for season ticket holders, alumni/fan donors above a specific dinero level.

So the team is staying at a completely separate hotel from the fans?

We booked the Renaissance right next to the stadium to avoid dealing with Ubers etc. Wish the team hotel was closer…does anyone know if there are any official parties/events for UConn fans? Starting to plan our schedule…

I was able to get a room at the Sheraton, but the thread below talks about the team staying at the Palomar. Anybody know which hotel the team is staying at?

Yes -

Team is staying at Palomar. Only large donors are staying there with them.

Other season ticket holder levels are at the Sheridan.

Does anyone know who makes the hotel decisions? Is it UCONN or NCAA?

That's twice now the team has stayed in boutique, small hotels....last year too.

Why wouldn't they want to get the most fan engagement and stay at a Sheridan etc?

Damn...that's twice now they screwed (IMO) UConn on hotels then.

2014 in Dallas was awesome - everyone was there....the team and the fans...

Last year, Miami had the Hyatt which was massive....team and fans (until they didn't).

NCAA at it's worst again with UCONN I guess...
