Sue Bird for 3, Croatia for 3, the score is 21-12
 
Is there a good flow to the game? Is it pretty ball, as Maya has wanted?
 
Croatia is hitting their threes....score is 21-17

OK - so we need to work on Perimeter defense...Croatia is making it very interesting, now having closed it to 21-20
We are being tested, but I am confident that we will prevail
 
21-20 - Croatia hit another 3 - 16 points in first 5 minutes of 2d quarter. Gulp!

USA playing terrible and sloppy. Now trailing.
 
Can't believe how poorly team USA is playing..... If this was a UConn team, Geno would be going crazy on the sidelines. No excuse for this poor play especially on the defensive end.
 
Fowles a total non factor on both ends.

Now we are missing point blank jump shots.

USA has tightened up their perimeter defense, but Croatia is patient. Another 3.

Game is getting VERY physical. Announcers going on about lack of time together for USA
 
Dee hits the 3, there's afoul or two, Candace hits a 2 Croatia hits another 3, score is 31-28
 
Finally, Lady Di, with something called a JUMP SHOT....2 in a row.

Than she goofs off and carries the basketball...wake up ladies.
 
Diana two 3-pointers in a row starts rally... U.S. 31-28 with 46 seconds left in 2nd.
