Was there. There were some. Probably 55-45 NCSU backers.

Yea it was pretty empty but I expected that for a college game, UConn fans seemed to be pretty spread out througout the arena, didn't seem as if there was a concentrated UConn section

Was there as well. Didn't have the electricity of the BET but our game was more full and had more of a pulse than the snoozefest that was GTown/Texas.

I am also a fan of the renovation going on at MSG. Had a much different look than the last time I was there.

yeah i thought since it was at 9 and two good teams it wouldve been more packed especially uconn fans, there seemed to be more up top than lower level

It was a decent crowd for a December college b-ball game. The lower bowl was mostly NCState fans and upper bowl was mostly UConn fans (guess we're cheap like that!). Because of their distinctive red color it seemed there were a lot more NCState fans but I actually think the majority was UConn fans (60-40). Lots of GTown lawyers in their suits too including a few hotties :)

UConn fans never really got into it as NCState seemed to always get an important basket before the TV timeouts so it was hard to get our chants going.

Dissapointing turnout. I like what they do at U of Texas (maybe other arenas, too). 5 min after game starts the PA address guy invites all those in upper deck to find seats in lower. MSG should do that. The place was a morgue--too many scattered fans.

Gampel should do that, too.

Definitely... unless it's a huge game Gampel can look bad on TV because a lot of the people that buy lower seats don't show.... they show the rest of Gampel and it's full.
